Meet our student Feature of the Week – Samuel James – Year 8 student – St. Michael’s School
1. How long have you been learning guitar with Jenca?
I have been learning guitar with Martyn at Jenca for about 6 years now.
2. How have you found the teaching for your lessons at Jenca?
I really look forward to my lessons with Martyn, he always makes it fun and he has got to know me and we even did some lessons on zoom during lockdown.
3. What are you currently learning?
I’m currently learning my Rockschool grade 4 pieces ready to sit my exam in December.
4. Who is your favourite band or artist?
I have many favourites including Led Zeppelin and Queen.
5. What song are you enjoying listening to at the moment?
I enjoy listening to many of David Bowie’s songs and more recently Silksonic with Bruno Mars.
