Meet our student Feature of the Week – Michael Jandron – Aged 10, Springfield School
How long have you had lessons with Jenca?
I started learning guitar with David in May 2021.
2. How have you found the teaching for your lessons at Jenca?
I love coming to Jenca for my guitar lessons because my teacher David is amazing, he is kind, patient and very, very funny.
I am autistic so his personality makes me feel comfortable to be myself while learning, he makes learning the guitar fun and I really look forward to my weekly lessons with him.
The adults at Jenca always say hello and check how I am getting on, which makes me feel very welcomed.
3. What are you currently learning?
I am currently learning Grade 1 Rockschool songs which are “Chasing Cars” by Snow Patrol, “Sunshine of Your Love” by Cream and “Living on a Prayer” by Bon Jovi.
4. Who is your favourite band or artist?
I don’t have a particular favourite band or artist because I have a very eclectic taste in music!
5. What song are you enjoying listening to at the moment?
I really like Ed Sheeran’s new album at the moment, and also the songs I’m learning in my lessons.
